From old tub to finished shower
Most installs take a few days. Here is what a typical install looks like. We give you your exact dates before work starts.
First day
We protect your floors and the path to the bathroom. Then we remove the old tub and haul it away.
Middle days
We prepare the space, set the new shower base and install the valve. Then the wall system and trim go in. Valve and drain work is done by a licensed plumber.
Last day
We finish any accessories and the door, clean up, and walk through the finished shower with you.

- 12-month workmanship warranty from Bastion on the installation.
If something goes wrong with our work, call us. For an active leak, we respond the same day. For anything else, we respond within one business day.
Common questions
What does a tub-to-shower conversion cost?
Every bathroom is different. Your price depends on the base, the walls and the options you pick. At your free in-home visit you get a fixed price in writing, good for 90 days, with no added fees and no pressure to decide that day.
How long does the install take?
Days, not weeks. Most of the work happens in the first day or two. Plan on no shower use for about 24 hours while the sealant cures. We give you your install dates before work starts.
Do you put a liner over my old tub?
No. The old tub and surround come out. The installer checks the subfloor and walls for water damage and fixes what's needed, then a new base and wall system go in. That way hidden rot or mold gets found instead of covered up.
What if you find damage behind the walls?
It happens in older homes. You see the damage before anything is fixed. Any repair is written up as a change order with the price, and you approve it before the work is done. No surprises on the final bill.
Can it be made safer for getting in and out?
Yes. Options include a low-threshold base, grab bars anchored into studs, a built-in or fold-down seat, a handheld shower and a slip-resistant floor. We can go over them at your free visit. See safer shower options.
What warranty do I get?
Lifetime manufacturer warranty on the wall system. Plus a 12-month workmanship warranty from Bastion on the installation. An active leak gets a same-day response. Anything else gets a response within one business day.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Financing is available. We'll go over options at your visit.
